After my musical debut as FEMINEM in December, I produced and performed a bespoke track in response to 'Portrait of a Lady on Fire' in cinemas around the country in January and February, commissioned by Birds Eye View in conjunction with the BFI.

In late November, I made a bespoke 30minute performance called ‘Mentl’, in response to Barbara Streisand’s musical masterpiece, ‘Yentl’, for Birds’ Eye View’s Reclaim the Frame series, hosted by the incredible Mia Bays (right), with support from the BFI among others.
In November, ‘Dic Pic’ had its London premiere with Shorts on Tap in conjunction with TimeOut at Samsung KX, Coal Drops Yard.
This summer I finished my first film, a 12minute documentary on voice and gender called ‘Dic Pic’. It was nominated for ‘Best Film by a First-time Director’ at the Toronto Alt Film Festival, had its world premiere at Shorts Out/Brighton FilmPride in July, and was selected for and screened at the Montreal Feminist Film Festival in September.
After joining Bow Arts Trust in May, I took part in my first Open Studios event with them in June - had an absolute blast, sold some work - they’re a dreamteam ...
